Balance Power Projects Ltd are looking for a motivated and organised individual who is keen to learn the bookkeeping process, with the drive to develop their knowledge & skills. The successful candidate will complete a variety of administration and book keeping tasks and with the right attitude, have the opportunity to progress within the company.

Daily tasks include but are not limited to:

• Handling correspondence, filing, and printing
• Routinely check and organise invoice folders on SharePoint
• Maintaining accurate and detailed customer records, including creating new customer accounts
• Maintaining accurate and detailed supplier records, including creating new supplier accounts
• Manage finance inbox with help from Financial Controller
• Creating Purchase Orders
• Post invoices to sage
• Updating spreadsheets
• Ensuring that all necessary team members submit expense forms for credit card usage each month and checking that thy are accurate
• Assisting in preparing monthly finance presentations
• Assisting with month end duties
• Assist in producing financial reports
• Other ad-hoc duties as required

The training you will be getting

• You will be working towards an AAT Foundation Certificate in Accounting (Level 2)
• Training will be at St Helens College Town Centre Campus, one day a week. Term time only
